Video of appearance on KOMO TV's Northwest Afternoon

Last month my segment on on KOMO TV's Northwest Afternoon aired, and I finally got a copy of it. This is a popular daytime show in Seattle that caters to the stay-at-home crowd, and is known for its daily soap opera recap.

Keep in mind that this is the interview I mis-scheduled, and almost missed. After getting a call from the producer just minutes before they started to tape, I threw on a jacket and rushed across town (and through some detours when I got lost), and was ushered onto the stage a mere five minutes after screeching into a handicapped space in the garage downstairs. So my adrenaline was pumping and my hair was a little messy. My mom thinks I look a little nervous in it but, given the situation, I think it turned out okay. This was the first time I'd taped a show in front of a live audience, which was a bit surreal. While the spectators were quite a few feet from the stage, I could still feel their stares, and they didn't all look admiring. When we went to the commercial break, a guy stood in front of them with a big "applaud" sign.
